1. Who We Are
Pravda Russian ("we", "us", "our") operates the website at https://pravdarussian.com. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and your rights over it.
2. Data We Collect
When you create an account, we collect your name and email address. When you use the contact form, we collect your name, email, and message. We store blog comments you submit. We do not collect payment information directly — any future purchase processing will use a PCI-compliant third-party payment processor.
We automatically collect basic usage data including pages visited, browser type, and approximate location (country level) via standard server logs and, if enabled, Google Analytics. We do not use advertising trackers or sell your data to third parties.
3. How We Use Your Data
Your email and name are used to: create and maintain your account, send password reset emails, and (with your consent) send learning-related updates. Contact form submissions are used solely to respond to your enquiry. Analytics data is used in aggregate to improve our content and tools.
4. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored on servers within the EU/UK. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt with a cost factor of 12 and are never stored in plain text. We apply industry-standard security measures including HTTPS, secure session handling, and prepared SQL statements to prevent injection attacks.
5. Cookies
We use a session cookie (strictly necessary) to keep you logged in. If Google Analytics is enabled, it sets its own analytics cookies. You can manage cookie preferences via our cookie settings page.
6. Your Rights (GDPR)
You have the right to: access the data we hold about you; correct inaccurate data; request deletion of your account and data; object to processing; and data portability. To exercise any of these rights, contact us and we will respond within 30 days.
7. Contact
